As previously announced, Ford will increase manufacturing of the Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle.

However, early this week, it provided a bonus that wasn't expected: a price drop.

If you include the $300 increase in the required destination charge to a total of $1,800

the price of a Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle reduces by as much as $3,700

Price details for the Ford Standard Range vehicles with the new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry have been made public

The Mach-E is eligible for the full $3,750 electric vehicle (EV) tax credit under the new system, which is known as the Clean Vehicle Credit.

Ford claims that the new LFP cells improve power, range, and charging times for Standard Range vehicles

Maximum power output is 311 horsepower
